Looking at a 2000 Montero Sport…anything to look for?

120k miles on dash, 3.0 and 4x4. NC area so could be rust free or rusty. Want to know what I should look for, good running price if it’s in good condition and any other advice you might have.

I’ve been a big Ford modular motor guy (2v 4.6/5.4) so I have zero knowledge about these trucks. I’ve got basic mechanic skills (manifold gaskets, spark plugs (even rethreading a cylinder), fluid flushes, brakes etc. but have never done a full tear down of a motor/pulled one) so I can do basic tinkering and maintenance.

[NC] State Employee - Process for Mental Health Leave.?

Extremely burnt out and my doctor said he would write a note for “as long as needed” or for a specific date if need be. I have gone from being a 9-5 worker to, with lovely new policies, having to respond to numerous people at all hours of the day.

I work for the State and have roughly 1500 hours of sick leave accrued. Lots of new policies, no real pay increases and having to interact with some very unpleasant individuals that feel that cabinet/divison/department members need to be looped in on emails when they do not like an outcome. It has caused a ton of stress and anxiety that’s bled over to home and my health.

How do I avoid going on unpaid leave and how can I “burn” a good portion of my sick leave? I’m vested with the state if that helps with close to 10 years in.

Spectre9K W/ Walther PPKS/D .32 ACP

Anyone ever pair these two together? I got mine in recently and honestly it’s not as quiet as I’d hoped. I got the direct thread adapter and was really hoping it would sound like some of these 9mm suppressed videos Ive seen but it still cracks loud as all get out.

Is there something wrong with the gun/can or is it just because it’s a 9mm can with .32 running through it and there’s more room for air to escape?

I’ll be trying the scorpion next week with some 9mm subs so hopefully a bit different experience.
