Once a very active retail thief... now I resort to fridge magnets

So, there's really no doubt that I have a flavor of kleptomania. In my youth I would steal whatever wasn't nailed down. I got caught once in elementary school and it only made my process better, and I was never caught again. I stole anything I could find the anti-theft tags for and could remove, and I never really needed any of it. My girlfriend at the time, now my wife, knew what I was up to, but since I was never caught when we were together she would just sort of shrug at it all.

We got older, got married, and we later had twin boys. At this point in my life I knew that this hobby of mine would eventually catch up with me. I had a good job, a healthy family, the last thing I needed was to get wrapped up in a theft charge. So, to vent the need that builds up in me... I resort to magnets. Whenever we go on vacation somewhere, I pay for everything and do everything by the book until I come to the magnet stand. I borrow a magnet from every interesting place we go to, and now our fridge is covered with about 100 interesting magnets. Like an altar to an older part of myself. The only people that know are me and my wife, and I'll probably keep it that way.

Store locator... kind of worthless?

Somebody recommended I check out the store locator for places to play and buy product from, and wouldn't you know, there's a store within 50 miles of me! Let's check it out.

...

Oh wait, that's just an apartment complex somebody runs an online store out of. So I guess the game is dead near me? 🤷‍♂️

I tried System Universe which wasn't terrible but I grew a little bored of it, and HWFWM I bounced off of hard. I couldn't stand the dialogue. I do like some humor, the banter between Jake and Villy in TPH is perfect. I'm a fan of the power fantasy borderline overpowered MC. DCC is a great series but it doesn't scratch the particular itch for a strong MC I have.
