Scandal! Shocking tumbles in the ruins of Harrenhal!

This little family is my favorite AGOT story so far.

I started as Danelle Lothston of Harrenhal, who got the Lord Paramount's brother Edmund Tully to elope with her, but died soon after.

So I played as Edwyn and decided he would follow in his mother's footsteps with seductions, mostly because my house was down to the two siblings and I urgently needed bastards.

His first seduction attempt was the sister-wife to the heir of the Iron Throne, Princess Maegelle Targaryen. It was just playing around but that seduction went off without a hitch and then things got really wild. Her husband learned of the affair and made it public, Maegelle was imprisoned (Edwyn paid for her release.) And she was pregnant, with Edwyn's publicly known bastard! Maegelle and Edwyn remained lovers, and the entire realm knew.

To fight for his father's claim to the Riverlands, Edwyn had been promised to a Lannister cousin, whom he dutifully married once she turned 16, right as Maegelle was pregnant. He married Amena dutifully, and she immediately started birthing him sons, but Edwyn never loved her, and he was quite honestly a terrible husband to her. Being kind and compassionate, he never contemplated killing Maegelle's husband to free her, but he was ready to elope with her and throw away all hopes to realize Danelle's dream of winning the Riverlands for the Lothstons. They were caught, Edwyn nearly died on Dragonstone and Maegelle was once again imprisoned by her brother-husband. Edwyn, his cynical side winning out, moved on to have affair after wife, sowing his seeds wide and far, humiliating his poor wife when he would even invite his lovers to Harrenhal for trysts.

He proved himself once again a good man but terrible husband when he asked for Aenys, his son with Maegelle, to be sent to Harrenhal - and promptly legitimized him, which made him his heir as the eldest son over his trueborn sons with Amena.

In the meantime, the Tullys had gone through a series of bad luck and several child rulers, until the Riverlands were destabilized enough for Edwyn to try his luck. His father Edmund Tully became the Lord Paramount of the Riverlands and Edwyn his heir.

Edwyn and Maegelle got to meet every three years, and their love never wavered over the years, but they never had a chance of eloping together, and he gave up. All he could do for the only woman he ever loved was to raise her son as his heir, and start searching for dragonlore in the hopes that he could one day gift Aenys with giving him dragons back.

And then Maegelle's sister-husband died. Not to Edwyn or Maegelle, because they were cheating assholes but no murderers, no, he died in one of these dime-a-dozen stupid little wars his father kept picking with Essos. Edwyn was so happy, he first tried to seduce his killer. Then he got hold of the brain cell and realized, Maegelle is free! So he pleaded with the king and that poor tired sickly old king was just fine whatever do what you want, I can't with you two anymore.

So Edwyn divorced his wife and married Maegelle 13 years after they first fell in love. The shock of that scandal apparently killed his father because they had a wedding and a funeral at the same time. Very cost efficient, really, can recommend! They finally became soulmates soon after (after Maegelle nearly rejected him, thinking that him wooing her even after marriage meant he was trying to cover up a guilty conscience). By now, they have a second son together, Valarr named after the king who finally permitted them to marry, while Maegelle's oldest son with Prince Jaehaerys is the heir to the Iron Throne. Yes, it's scandalous, it's messy, the poor king is Tired.

I don't know if they can have another child since Maegelle needs time to recover from Valarr's birth and she is already in her late 30s, but they are extremely cute with their family and sickeningly in love every day. They rule the Riverlands as Lothston dynasty from Harrenhal, which they are slowly restoring, and dream of becoming a dragon-riding house. (Or the Iron Throne, if Aenys begrudges it his half-brother.)

FINE DETAILS TO ADMIRAL SHARAKO LOHAR'S COSTUME

The textures and fabric of the Essos costumes are phenomenal. The incorporation of different techniques in beeding, sewing, and metal work keeps the costume interesting.

The colour also stand out. Westeros costumes stick to singular colour palette that is based on their house sigil. Essos Triarchy costumes are colourful and cover a full spectrum.

Anybody else using the CK3 AGOT mod to play their ships?

I'm playing Rhaenyra and with some cheat code magic, I finally managed to have her woo Alicent

So I've been sending Rhaenyra on pilgrimage after pilgrimage to earn enough Piety so she can create her own off-shoot of the Faith of the Seven that has full acceptance of same-sex relationships and marriages

Sorry, Seven Kingdoms, you all had to suffer years of everything being about religion, but it will be worth it when our vision comes true!

Daemon succeeding to hatch a new baby dragon several years after Caraxes died

It's always fun to get the popup about a new dragon but this one had me all emotional.

So maybe 10 years before, Daemon had tragically and suddenly lost Caraxes. Wasn't even in battle, though at the time they were constantly at war establishing the Stepstones Kingdom. No, Caraxes died a stupid, pointless death to a trophy-hunting dragonslayer, a nobody who just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

I (as Rhaenyra, ruling Dragonstone) gave Daemon access to the Dragonstone dragonpit, but he never came to bond. I don't know if he tried in King's Landing.

Then he lost Rhea as well - they had mended their marriage over the Stepstones wars they fought side by side, and have a daughter. (Their battlefield marriage counseling had so many butterfly effects! Rhaenyra's teenage crush on him went nowhere, he didn't marry Laena, Laena never died and freed up Vhagar, Aemond bonded Grey Ghost instead)

Somewhere along the way, Daemon had gotten sick as well, catching leprosy.

Since he didn't go for an adult dragon, I tried gifting him an egg, and he put it in his Trinket slot, but the profile picture didn't show him cradling it like other folks trying to hatch one. I accepted that he just wouldn't ever be able to get over Caraxes's loss.

And then all of a sudden, years later, I get this popup!

So now this withered old warrior king has a tiny little hatchling to love.

So I've been wanting to play during the Dance, but as a mere supporting lord in a faction.

The Blacks have good bookmarks for that like Daemon or Corlys, but I'm struggling to come up with any interesting Greens supporters on that 106 AC bookmark.

I was going to play the Hightowers, but Oldtown is already maxed out except for one empty holding, they're rich, the kids have good marriages. It looks kinda boring, tbh.

I doubt playing as the Lannisters will be much different, don't even have a Lord Paramount to unseat there.

I mostly play CK2, so I don't have many CK3 DLCs yet - no Adventurers for me.
