Shoutout from the states, got into mate when I had a group of Argentinian friends

Harvested my first couple purple bell peppers and tried drying out the seeds. There were normal size before drying. Why did they shrink? Are they still usable for next year? Did I do anything wrong ?

Not all the time but sometimes I have to touch this thing in order for my toilet to refill with water after flushing. What’s the cause and how do I fix this.

The whole backyard of this house used to be a junkyard. I’ve only been getting into gardening for 2-3 years now and I’ve never done soil tests. Should I get one done? Should I be worried about possible pollutants.
