Arts Alive Ga(y)rage Sale

Serpents Kiss is hosting a queer & trans garage sale! 215 2nd st in Old Town, it's between the Herbal shop and The Eagle House across from the cool artist Pavillion!

There will also be a raffle for free aesthetician services from serpents.Kiss things like waxing , facials and other skin care prizes.

There will be a lot of gothy clothes, a little bit of costuming supplies and materials. Also a lot of strange and unusual art and stickers, taxidermy type Crafty things. Several Clothing items are hand painted works of art as well as functional!

All of us selling are queers, and a lot of the sellers will be making donations to QH after the sale. Anything that isn't going to the nonprofits , will be still helping us pay bills , feed ourselves and keep our businesses alive.

I will have a box or two of random free things, one of which is a lot ethically sourced bones for crafting.

Someone was talking about a straight man friend who hung out mostly with trans femmes of various orientations and was very queer, supportive, and inclusive.

A lot of people tend to assume that those guys will end up coming out as something rather than just being an ally who mostly has queer friends.

Is there a term like "himbo" but maybe queer specific? Quimbo sounds maybe a bit silly but fitting?

I am asking this in a somewhat serious manner. But also, if you have your own made-up term for this , I am perfectly happy to be amused by silly answers!

Unknown Rhododendron , but a very old one that has been a huge trunked shrub/tree in my yards since I moved here in 2016.

It seems very difficult to capture the proper pinkness of this particular variety! These photos look a little more intense than the actual plant

I took some photos of my Sappho's first year of blooming. I have seen a lot of really lovely older Sappho rhodies around my neighborhood and quickly found the name!

The first year , the leaf cutter bees totally demolished a few branches , and I was pleased to see the activity but a little bummed out , they wouldn't use the larger plants that also had growth near the ground xD

I don't know the white and pink variety , but it is one of the larger trees (20-30 ft) that Sappho is growing near! The elder trees were huge when I moved in, and I love them, but they don't seem to break back at all, so they look a bit gangly around the trunks.
