Is this for real?

Is this for real?

So I installed bumble yesterday evening and today I woke up to this.

I have never really used a dating app before(never dated before to start with)but this is scary. 800+ within 12 hours is insane .

And the guys I Matched with are all there for hookups and casual thing.

Dating is tough and I think I am gonna give up already cause this sh\*t is tiring and scary at the same time. Are there really genuine people left?

Need advice for my step 1 prep

Starting my Step 1 prep

I'm a 2nd year IMG and my preproffs are about to end. I'm planning to start my preparation during the study break and continue it again after university exams.

I am planning to use bootcamp+first aid+uworld. (Also about this-Do I need a vdo resource for prep as i have already studied the subjects for my university)

But I'm confused how to manage it while preparing for proffs and then in 3rd year along with postings and the other 4 subjects. And also during 3rd year. How many hours a day should do? And when should I take my step 1?

Helping 1st years

Hi, I'm about to finish my 2nd year and I have been coming across so many post of 1st years asking guidance for their proffs and stuff.I scored 70% in my 1st year and I was once in the same place and wished a senior would guide me.

Here is a link to some great pdfs which really helped me:

Anatomy

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1q\_Qb8GXI08qG\_VRfKQQw7lEQbYigQczV

Physiology

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1jrgfaya0M5keWF0-vP3I3M21ZSBNs9Cw

Biochemistry I didn't have much of resources.I only used Vasudevan and my college lecture ppts.So sorry I can't share anything for biochemistry. But I can suggest to watch jambhulkar videos.

That's all.All the best for your University exams.

How to get a distinction in 2nd year?

So only 3 months are remaining for our 2nd proffs and I'm super tensed. i scored 70% in my 1st proffs but this year I want an distinction. But the problem is due to some health issues, fests ,sports and clinical postings I couldn't study properly in 2nd year.

I'm weak in all 3 subjects mostly pharmacology(I have a tough time memorizing stuff) and microbiology(I don't know where to even start😭😭,its too vast).

My pre uni papers will start june ending and continue till 18th july after which I'll have a month of study leave.

I'm starting with my usmle prep so I wanty Cv to look good so I really want to score distinction this year.

To all the seniors, please help me🙏🙏.

Finally submitted my ICMR STS proposal today!!

After what feels like a lifetime of drafting, revising, and continuous modification suggested by my guide, I have officially submitted my ICMR STS proposal. It feels great to finally have it off my plate. Now the agonizing wait for the results begins. I'm glad that I pushed through.

Felt nice trying something new. The best part is while doing the whole proposal thing I found out that surprisingly my college professors are really nice people. Not even once I had to pester anybody for anything.Just went to them ,said what I was doing, asked what I needed help with and they were more than happy to help. My guide stayed up until 11.30 pm once just cause he wasn't able to correct my draft as he was busy the whole day.Even the paper work was so smoothly handled. So yeah that was a plus point for me . Everybody was very helpful.

Now just lets hope for the best.
