I’m currently torn between getting the OnePlus 15 and the iPhone 17 Pro Max, and I’m hoping to get some honest feedback from long-term OnePlus 15 users.

​I know the spec sheets inside and out, but I’m really interested in the day to day reality after the honeymoon phase is over. My main concerns are

​Long-term reliability, I know iPhones are famous for staying fast for 5+ years. For those who have been using the 15 for a while, does it still feel snappy, or have you noticed any significant degradation?

​Social Media/Camera, I know this is the classic Android vs. iOS debate, but how is the real world experience using the camera within apps like Instagram and Snapchat? Is the quality "fine" for daily use, or is it a major annoyance if you’re coming from an iPhone?

​The Android vs iPhone shift, If you switched from an iPhone to the OnePlus 15, do you find yourself missing anything specific, or do you have any regrets? Alternatively, are there things you’d miss about the OnePlus 15 if you switched back today?

​I love the idea of the faster charging and the freedom of the Android ecosystem, but I’m worried about the long-term software polish. If you were in my shoes, would you stick with the OnePlus 15, or would you jump to the 17 Pro Max?

Does the 17t pro really overheats even while using social media apps and camera? I've noticed some people saying that it sometimes gets hot for no reason, and the performance drops, also the same thing while gaming, and I've also seen some comments saying that the reviewers don't encounter these problems because Xiaomi sends them an overclocked version of the devices. I was planning on buying it, but after seeing these reviews, i don't wanna take the risk. I'll just increase my budget and get the OnePlus 15.
