My Filmmaking Journey

I hope the information doesn't look like Ai -

It took 30min to type it. 🥲🥲

I’m an Aspiring Film Director, new to Hyderabad, and I’m looking to connect with fellow filmmakers, artists, technicians, and people from the film industry.

📍 Present location - Film nagar, Hyderabad.

Education

I joined the Digital Filmmaking Degree program at Jain University, Bengaluru and completed my first year.

Then… the great ⚠️ Pandemic ruined my degree life 😔

So, I continued my filmmaking education through an online course from the UK.

My Experience

Indie Filmmaking Experience

\\- Directed 2 short films

\\- Edited 4 short films and 1 album song

\\- Worked as a Cinematographer on 5 short films

Film Industry Experience

I have 4 years of experience in the Kannada film industry, working in different departments and roles.

BTS Cameraman --> Assistant Director --> Associate Director --> Assistant Production Manager --> Set Management

I’m grateful to my Guru Garu "VMNR" who has helped and guided me to gain experience in the film industry.

Why am I getting into Tollywood?

\\- For the TFI banisalu

\\- My dream is to work with Etv, It made my childhood enjoyable.

Why now, after 4 years?

\\- Initially, I planned to make a small project to build my profile before trying to enter ETV.

I already had a few contacts with indie filmmakers mostly my classmates from university in Bengaluru.

I started getting back-to-back opportunities in the industry with the support of my friend "Gowtham" and my Guru Garu "VMNR".

I was hungry for knowledge and experience, so I kept working, learning, and gaining experience.

And somehow… 4 years passed.

My Thoughts on the Filmmaking Journey : -

Learning is a never ending process.

Now, I will execute what I have learned.

Then I will learn again.

And I will execute again.

And repeat.

🔁🔁🔁🔁🔁🔁🔁

I’m now in Hyderabad and looking forward to meeting filmmakers, writers, directors, cinematographers, editors, actors, producers, and anyone who is passionate about cinema.

If you're also building your profile in Hyderabad, let's collaborate.
