Ported from Prepaid to Postpaid specifically for Fast Lane, but facing this issue
I recently ported from Airtel Prepaid to Postpaid mainly to experience the 5G Fast Lane benefit. However, when I checked Device Readiness in the Airtel Thanks app, I’m getting the attached status:
- Phone Ready: Not ready — says my phone doesn't support the required software.
- SIM Ready: Ready.
- Postpaid Fast Lane Ready: Not enabled on my number yet and says it's being rolled out in phases.
I’m using a Google Pixel 6a on Android 17, with the latest software update.
Has anyone with a Pixel 6a faced the same issue? Is this a device compatibility/Google software issue or simply Airtel's backend rollout issue?
Also, could someone please share the correct Airtel email/contact for raising a formal complaint regarding Fast Lane activation?
I ported specifically for this feature, so I'd really like to understand whether it will actually be supported on the Pixel 6a or not.
