Tips for passing ACCA AA and FM together (both resits)

Hi everyone,

I'm resitting both ACCA AA and FM in the September session. These are both my second attempts.

My previous results were:

  • FM: 45
  • AA: 49

I'm determined to pass both this time, but I'm finding it difficult to balance the two subjects. I also get distracted very easily, and sometimes I spend far too long on a single question.

If you've passed AA and FM together, I'd really appreciate your advice:

  • How did you divide your study time between the two papers?
  • How many questions did you practise each day?
  • Did you finish the study text first or focus mainly on the question bank?
  • What changes made the biggest difference between failing and passing?
  • Any tips for staying focused and avoiding burnout?

I'd be grateful for any advice or study strategies that worked for you. Thank you!

Attending two papers at a time already booked.

I am planning to appear for my audit and FM exam this Sept. Both papers are my second attempt. For my FM, I got 45 in March, and for my audit, I got 49 in my June attempt. I would really love to have study tips to manage both these papers and learn within this one month and pass. And currently, I have a boost of distractions that I can't handle. Or for a question, it takes up a bundle of my time.
