Help me understand what exactly was broken about coral farming?

I just found out about coral recently and a clannie told me that it's "OP" and to "take advantage before it's nerfed".

So I spent an hour thieving chests and managed to get 40 frags. I spent the next 8 days farming those frags and yielded around 700 pillar coral.

Then I found out I needed to hunt crabs for secondaries, no problem. But first I needed fishing offcuts to hunt the crabs so I spent 30 minutes buying Herring from the tempoross shop, then built a chum station on my boat, sailed out to the middle of the ocean, spent 30 mins turning them into offcuts, then went to summer shore, hunted crabs for an hour and a half.

And only then was I able to actually make my potions for 100k herb xp. It took me 8 days and 5+ hours just to get 100k herb xp. And this method was supposed to be busted? What the hell.

edit: so apparently the mega-nerds on this subreddit can't comprehend someone not having 99 farming lmao. I understand the nerf for yield now, but the drop rate nerf for Pillar frags was still unnecessary given the arduous processing required to actually turn it into a potion.

how do i get over my pp anxiety?

how do I stop hoarding my prayer pots and actually use them? earlier into my iron's progression, I used up all of my prayer pots on slayer and bossing to the point that I fully ran down my entire supply of ranarrs + seeds.

It kind of locked me out of some content for a bit until I got back into the groove of farm runs/contracts and now that I've built my pp stack up to ~800, i've now found myself being way too conservative with how I use them.

e.g, during a nech/dust burst task, I'll maybe use 1 or 2 sips before I let my prayer reach near-zero, and I'll house tele, ancient mace spec, return and rinse n repeat.

for farming mad angel, I did single kill trips (poh and ancient mace). i even let my prayer drain fully and got rekt during the enrage triple mage attack because I didn't want to waste a pray dose as I thought I could've secured the kill.

my pp anxiety is driving me crazy. how do i fix?

[BUG] PSA: Do not empty meat pouches before emptying your fur pouch or your furs in the fur pouch will be deleted.

Just farmed over 100 antelope furs before realising that there were only <30 furs actually in my bank.

Emptying your meat pouch whilst in the bank interface will delete all the furs in the pouch if your fur pouch is present in your inventory and contains any furs.

Additionally, using the 'empty all' button in the bank interface will only deposit your hunter meat and delete the furs from the pouch if your meat pouch is ordered before your fur pouch in your inventory.

Emptying your fur pouch before emptying the meat pouch at the bank will not delete your furs! Only the opposite order is currently bugged.

Hopefully this'll save a few irons from deleting 28 furs a pop and losing 60k crafting xp worth of furs.

EDIT: This has now been confirmed to be hotfixed by Jagex as per their latest blogpost.

Reviving a user and picking up their class should NOT be on the same keybind. The recent CQB maps have turned this into a highly annoying issue for medics.

I have 3,000+ revives so far on this game. I mainly play medic and I will actively smoke or drag you to safety when reviving.

I don't use defibs post-nerf and run APS + Smoke launcher + Frags for meat grinder maps. I need to revive you with 'E'. The button to pick up someone else's class is also 'E'.

My single biggest gripe with the current revive system is the fact that when I revive, I get punished by the game by picking up someone else's class. This was sort of a problem in Hagental, but it was tolerable given there aren't as many tight corners, but in Cairo Bazaar map, given there's usually 4-5+ teammates stacked on each other waiting for a revive, picking up someone else's class is becoming far too frequent and annoying to ignore.

If you hate the fact that medics aren't reviving, this is just adding another reason that's making the role of a medic way too burdensome. Please DICE, add an option to either disable picking up someone else's class, or allowing 'pick up class' to be bound to another key.

I can only fear how annoying this would be on controller...

Been driving a manual for 6 years now. Had to drive my mum somewhere in her car and occasionally when I'd brake my left hand would reach towards the centre console. My brain was trying to downshift a gear selector that wasn't there.

Felt dumb but I guess that's just muscle memory kicking in. Anyone alternate between manuals and autos often and find themselves doing anything similar?

Bonus question: any LHD drivers reach towards the door when driving a LHD manual? Not had the pleasure personally, but wonder if muscle memory kicks in there as well.
