Im 23F. Calling all IIT Delhi/IIT Bombay/IIT Madras/IISc M.Tech students and alumni—what's the one piece of advice you'd give someone chasing a top GATE rank?

If you could go back to the beginning of your preparation, what would you do differently? What habits, strategies, or mistakes made the biggest difference in getting into a top IIT? I'm aiming for a top rank and would love advice from people who've actually been there.
