Would you move into either of these apartments with these ceilings? US-TN
We toured two units the other day—one in visibly better shape than the other.
With prices skyrocketing, $900 including all utilities for a one bedroom in a great location is a steal. Unfortunately, we can’t really afford much else right now.
I have health issues—EDS, MCAS, POTS, Interstitial Cysitis, asthma, reactive hypoglycemia, low blood pressure, migraines, etc etc. I found a company in Nashville that tests for mold and they want $300. These health issues were not developed later in life, I have had pots and MCAS since I was a child and have always struggled with severe allergies.
The first 4 pictures are of the bathroom in unit 1. I immediately said no to this one despite it being the same price and larger because to me, it looks like mold.
The last 3 pictures (5-7) are of the unit we have been already approved for and are just waiting until we can meet to sign the lease in person.
I’m extremely nervous because I am already homebound, but we need a place to live that we can afford. We are currently renting a room from a friend for $300 but cannot stay here forever. The cheapest apartment we could get aside this would be $1300 a month without utilities, so $1500, which I don’t see us being able to afford even months from now.
Can someone please help 😭🙏🏼
*update* landlord said roof was replaced two years ago and board is from repair upstairs from sink overflowing
What do we think about that explanation??! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
🚨for the new people that comment, can you specify whether you are reffering to the first 4 pics or the last 3? Thank you !
