After Invisalign, I was scanned for a retainer in February and my orthodontist shaved my teeth to “fix the bite”—this happened across ~3 visits because I kept going back with issues. Since then I’ve had ongoing right-side pain in a lower right tooth (sharp/pressure like I’m biting on something) plus jaw pain. I now clench/grind (never had this before), my midline feels off, and sensitivity toothpaste hasn’t helped.

I couldn’t get seen until May, got the retainer in March, and I’ve already been back 4 times. The ortho wants to see me mainly to check the retainer, but I’m having problems with it too—it feels uneven, has a bump, and it’s hitting/cutting my gums near the wisdom tooth area, especially with grinding.

I’ve seen a regular dentist, an oral surgeon, and a gum specialist (only mild gingivitis). My dentist said my bite looks fine and is okay with removing the wisdom teeth. The oral surgeon didn’t think the wisdom teeth were the main issue but said if things don’t improve, they could be removed. He also recommended physical therapy (doing it now) and a night guard if needed; the orthodontist also suggested a night guard.

What else can I do at this point? I’m already doing PT and planning to request a night guard and a new retainer. The pain from clenching/grinding seems to radiate toward the wisdom tooth area—how do I get this fixed before deciding on wisdom tooth removal?

So hello everybody, I purchased a pair of Meta Rayban display sand color from LensCrafters and I do have the protection plan from Meta.

The main thing is, I set up the Repair in March took my month to get me a shipping label to create my ticket. I mail out the item in the beginning of April just the glasses alone what I was told to mailed out that’s have my prescription that has a deep scratch.

They still have not sent out the replacement. It’s May and it’s been a mess to communicate with Meta via email in WhatsApp, very poor communication.

Does anyone know what else I can do?
