I'd finally gotten my fico over 750 this month. After a long battle fixing many mistakes I've gone from 14 active cards to 4. Total cc debt 11k. We had a major vet emergency today and had to max out two cards to pay for it. I know my credit is going to take a hit, even if we pay them back off next month.

My question to you is should I use this time to close some of the accounts I no longer use? I have 3 credit one accounts I'd love to get rid of. I know the score is going to tank with the utilization going up on the two emergency cards anyways. Advice needed.
