Need Help!!
Need advice: bought Govee TV Backlight 3 Pro for my old 65” TV, then replaced the TV with a 75”
I bought a Govee TV Backlight 3 Pro from Amazon about 10 days ago for my old 65” TV
Long story short, that TV ended up getting damaged, and I just replaced it with a 75” TV
Now I’m stuck because the Govee kit I bought is the 65” version, so it doesn’t fit the new 75” TV properly.
Here’s my situation:
- Bought the 65” Govee TV Backlight 3 Pro around 10 days ago from Amazon
- It was meant for my old 65” TCL
- I now have a 75” Sony Bravia 5
- I don’t have the original Govee box anymore
- I’m trying to figure out the smartest move
My questions:
- Can I buy just a longer replacement LED strip for the TV Backlight 3 Pro and use it with my existing controller/camera?
- Does Govee sell extension/replacement strips for the 75–85” version that would work with the 65” kit hardware?
- If not, has anyone successfully returned a Govee kit to Amazon without the original box?
- Is there any way to make the 65” version work on a 75” TV without it looking bad?
I’d rather not waste the kit if there’s a clean solution, but I also don’t want to force a bad fit on the 75” TV.
Would appreciate any advice from anyone who’s dealt with this before.
