You're telling me that my friends and I grinded for this, but only one of us can use it?
My friend got a couple of us into Forever Winter, so out of respect for that myself and our other friend have been giving him our resources to upgrade what we thought would be "his world." As in, so long as we're playing with him, we'd be able to reap the benefits that we've collectively worked towards. Turns out, that isn't the case. Although the terminal and structure are now available, and I can touch it and jump onto it, the two of us cannot do anything with it.
Mind you, I recognize that many other games will keep player progression as a purely personal "your profile" thing, but I think the main thing that made this particularly sting is that the three of us have been working together the whole time, in a hub that we thought was shared, unlocking new regions, Buntleton, sharing loot, accessing the donation bin, only to run this gameplay wall.
It feels like I'm going to a members-only grocery store and the items on the shelf magically disappear from my vision because I don't have a membership card. Or I'm going to a friend's house but can't access the bathroom because I'm not on the lease.
Just really crestfallen about this and wanted to share this feedback.
