I just 49 and I fell today

I've worked since I was 10 years old, for real. I just turned 49 last week. I drive a trash truck with two guys working as loaders. I don't get out of the truck unless it's a recycle day and I'll get out to throw carts and rack the truck while the loaders load the hopper. Today I drove for 6 hours and was done. I had climbed out and stretched a few times and was feeling just fine. Arrived at the shop and the water and sewer supervisor was at the shop and just happened to look over as my left ankle and right knee decided to mutiny as I was climbing down the truck steps and I ate shit hard. I played it off and did a quick truck chore, climbed back up and headed to the landfill. An hour and half later I was back at the shop and he asked if I'm good. I said it hurt but I'm fine. He shook his head and said if that happened to one of his guys they'd gone home. I'm fit. I've backpacked all over the US and walk to work. Im a bit heavy but I'm fit more or less. I've broke my ankle, lower back and shoulder in the past and my knees feel years of labor work and hard playing. I just can't believe they both gave out at the same time after such an easy day.

House Cleaning

Yes it would be easier just to go to the tablet turn on Spotify or SiriusXM but something about of setting up 5 CDs in the player and choosing a couple pieces of vinyl just feels different. Playlist this morning has been Grateful Dead Europe '72 both discs, Deadicated, In The Dark and American Beauty. Madman Across the Water and Grand Funk Railroad Red Album on vinyl to start the session. Getting the house work done.

Also very much have run out of space and storage and unsure what the next move is to gain more space but there will be a plan sooner or later. Maybe a rent to own shed turned into a media room?

Casey Jones Dog was a gift from my wife who replaced my original that has been lost to time. The original was a gift from my grandfather when I was a baby. My Pet Monster was a Christmas gift in either 85 or 86. Yeah I'm 49 next week and I still have my stuffed animals.

My case logic folder from 1995 has been missing for about 4 years was found today in a box where My Pet Monster has lived since my wife and I moved in together almost 4 years ago. Ive had a box of empty CD cases under the spare bedroom bed the whole time hoping to find my CD case. Although not everything was in the folder I was able to match about 47 CDs to the jewel case and another 38 without cases which I put into a new 40 cd folder. I also recovered another 28 burned CDs. I'm officially out of storage for now. Gonna have to convince my wife to turn the spare room into a media room soon.
