This is the Omega that started it all for me. My wife surprised me after a promotion at work with an Omega. She knew I had wanted one since I first saw a Seamaster in Goldeneye.
About twelve years ago my wife picked the page and let my then 6 year old daughter pick which watch. I had it serviced last year, it was running fine but lubricants wear out and this watch needs to last. The story is too personal to ever let it go.
Also…. It’s been five days and nobody suspects anything.
Today in an attempt to eliminate a potential cause for violent jerking while pulling away from a stop about 10% of the time, and to knock an item off my todo list. I replaced the clutch master and slave cylinders today. The condition of the old fluid wasn’t good.
I drew a vacuum at the slave and flushed all the cloudy, dirty fluid out. It feels better but only time will tell if that was the cause of my problems.
New plugs and wires. Shift knob and retainer. Re-wired and replaced the head unit.
Looks like I’ll be doing a shifter rebuild this week, and designing a 3d printed part to cover the hole.
Maybe I’ll finally install my coilovers this week.
