Using YouTube shorts for a bit of simplified role play.
I created a video with a narrative hook and asked the audience to provide a description of their character, a description of how they sound, and a description of what their response would be to the hook. I will then take my favorite response and try to voice that character for the next bit of the narrative. Also if a character didn't make it for the next part I will encourage people to take their character and see if maybe they can have them interrupt the conversation and interject themselves into the story. Again I will choose my favorite and that will become the next video. I'm hoping to run the narrative for quite some time. I'm also planning on creating other narrative hooks as well as maybe some more long form version of this where there's a little more detail given. Another possibility for the long form version is one where it's not just 1 character chosen but a team.
