Person I'm dating is allergic to gluten, lactose, soy, and corn - what do I cook
I love cooking. I love cooking for other people - it's a way I show my love and appreciation.
However, one of my dates cannot consume gluten, lactose, soy, or corn. Pretty much all of my recipes include one or more of those ingredients, and while she's told me that Thai food is mostly safe for her, I have no clue where to start on that. I also have next-to-no spice tolerance, and I'd like to make meals we both can enjoy.
On the other hand, I know alternatives for all of these exist in some form or another. But, I've never cooked with them, and I don't know if there are different alternatives for different types of meal preparation. Like the soy-free soy sauce alternative I found that uses coconut aminos, whether it will work as both a dipping sauce for dumplings and as a marinade for my sesame beef recipe.
I plan on also asking the people around me for any recipes they have - but it'd be a massive help if any of y'all could give me tips / tools I should look into.
