Müzeyyen and Hazar (possible spoiler)

In the last episode (ep 10) Müzeyyen and Hazar have a short exchange by the stairs where Hazar makes it clear he knows about Müzeyyen being involved in the burning of Saliha's house. Müzeyyen gets nervous and obviously fears Hazar will blow her cover.

But I ask myself: Do they not have the same goal in the end? Both want to make Ates miserable and see him suffer.

Will we see a Müzeyyen/Hazar alliance?

Hot Take: The Hazar storyline is bad

I might be alone with this opinion, but I don't like the whole Hazar storyline. We of course don't know how exactly his storyline will affect the overall narrative, but as of now I am not interested one bit in his storyline.

I don't like the character (it's not a problem of the actor, but of the writing). The whole Hazar character is a walking cliche with his gold coin, the mafioso clothing style, his gun and knife training.

We always see generic scenes with him: interacting with his underling Abdo, punishing other mobsters who crossed him, training his gun skills.

And to be honest: I don't care who shot his father and why. (Maybe this will become important later or not)

His scenes steal time from the main narrative. I do not skip any scenes, but I have to force myself to stay up to date with Hazar.

I won't speak about the events of episodes 7 and 8 yet.

Theory

It's just a feeling, but I think the scene above will be the very last shot of the last episode.

After everything is said and done and our couple has overcome everything - probably even the mansion burning to the ground - maybe Ates and Mercan finally go away together, leaving all behind and move into a small house (by the sea🤭).

Could Demet be...

... Hazar's sister?

I don't really know if their ages add up, but the thought is interesting.

If I remember correctly wasn't it established in season 1 that Nezir's and Demet's parents were dead? Demet back in season 1 talked about how Nezir has protected her from their father. Maybe this wasn't their father in the biological sense, but some kind of a foster constellation. And only maybe Nezir and Demet weren't even blood related siblings 🤯

In the flashback where we see the death of Hazar's father, he tells Hazar to take care of his sister.

Also for this season the theme they are going for with Demet is "being all alone in the world". This obviously refers to her budding romance with Cemal, but maybe also to finding a long lost sibling.

Episode 3: Ates' Father...

... is a murderer? At least from Hazar's point of view/childhood memories.

They didn't show the person who shot Hazar's father on purpose I think. Most likely it's all a big misunderstanding in the end.

In season 1 Ates' and Eylül's parents are shown to be "normal" people. To kill someone doesn't really fit this image. But on the other hand the Aslans somehow had ties to Haydar. Mmh, interesting. Maybe someone set Ates' father up (and it wasn't actually him who shot Hazar's father) or he was blackmailed.

Did the writers retcon the Eylül storyline?

I cannot pinpoint the exact episode, but in the last season there was an episode where Müzeyyen stepped out of the mansion and walked into a (poorer) neighbourhood. She rang on a door and the door openend. We didn't see who exactly openend (a young woman) but it was heavily implied that it was Eylül. Müzeyyen had a dialogue along the lines "How is my beautiful girl doing?" As far as I remembered it wasn't the same house that was established as Saliha's/Eylül's house. And yet it was heavily implied that Müzeyyen was in contact with Eylül, visited her regularly (but most likely not telling her about Ates).

In this new season it seems to be a fact that Eylül doesn't know Müzeyyen (besides being brought to Saliha by Müzeyyen, when she was asleep from anesthesia as a five year old).

I suspect the writers made these changes on the fly when it became clear that a second season would be green lit.

Müzeyyen's change after episode 1

[Not really a spoiler, but maybe some have not yet watched episode 1]

After Asli is finally caught and taken away by the police (for attempted murder, I suppose), it seems to me that Müzeyyen has changed her goal quite a bit.

It seemed to me that now she is not only out for revenge against the remaining Yildirims (the missing Haydar, Nermin and of course Mercan), but she is now also targeting her "sons", Cemal and especially Ates (for not covering up Asli's crime, "taking Mercan's side").

I fear a bit for her mental sanity (well, this ship has sailed long ago). She is essentially a loose gun by now.

Theory about Hazar (?)

The newly introduced male villain, I think his name is Hazar, is out for revenge on Ates for "killing his father".

While Ates didn't really kill anyone as far as we know of now, I can only think of two male characters from the last season that were old enough to have a son in his late thirties:

a) Haydar - well, as we learned today he isn't dead. But maybe this isn't common knowledge? I think this is rather unlikely since they played the card with Haydar and Burak already in season 1. Another offspring would be too much.

b) Uncle Riza - Haydar's brother. He obviously had connections into the criminal underbelly/mafia. And he died last season (although Ates didn't kill him). The weak spot of tja theory is that Mercan would then most likely know him. And it doesn't seem so from trailers/previews.

Or even more likely

c) An unknown character - We didn't really see Ates' ascent to power. He was already this successful, rich "business owner" in episode 1 of season 1. Maybe he had a clash with someone in the criminal milieu that happened to be Hazar's father.

What will you do now?

What will you (Catholic faithful who frequent the liturgies of the SSPX and receive the sacraments there) do now?

Disclaimer: I am no affiliated with the SSPX, but I have much sympathy for them. And I also think the reaction of Rome is a bit or rather very excessive.

Mobiles Klimagerät und Gastherme - Gefahr?

Moin,
