It’s one thing for the label to want the girls to gain more experience before letting them make their own music and it’s a whole other thing to shop around for demos instead of having a dedicated team of songwriters and producers that work around and know the girls personally.

And it’s not even about buying demos. That’s a regular practice in the industry but why are you buying years old demos? If I recall correctly, Gabriela was a demo made in 2018. And now, it’s rumored that they’ve bought another Charlie XCX demo from 2013. Yoonchae was born in 2007. Why are you buying a demo from when she was 6?

I seriously cannot think of a reason why this label is so hellbent on stunting their growth.

There was a pretty viral tweet a few days ago comparing Manon to Sophia, or rather their high school years. It used the pic of Manon with those men and Sophia’s graduation pics. Basically shaming Manon for being a “slut” who didn’t graduate. Even though Manon did graduate from a pretty prestigious school but that’s beside the point.

After other people rightfully called them out for shaming Manon for being sex positive and claiming that Sophia is 23, she’s very likely also had sex, there was a massive wave of responses genuinely offended at that idea. Using an interview of Sophia’s mother claiming she’s never had a boyfriend before as proof that she’s still “a virgin”.

This idea of the girls have to be pure, is not a recent development either. I remember when the Jonah hate first began and people were making comments that Dani has to break up with him because the sex can’t be that good, more fans being offended because Dani is catholic and always wears a cross so she’s obviously, definitely not doing that. Same with Lara, after their London stop, and she was clearly insinuating that she spent the night with her bf, people were genuinely angry at her for saying that.

It’s not only with their sex lives, you also have how people react when they see them with *gasp* a drink or *gasp* a vape or *double gasp* a cig.

I don’t understand when everyone became so sanctimonious. The fandom is majority Gen Z, the most sex positive and open minded generation, so why are they so scandalized by the thought of 20 year olds in LA living like every other 20 year old?

You are listening to them sing about shaking ass in the parking lot but angry that they might actually do that.

Make it make sense.

Like I’m not calling them evil even though they are. The execs are cowards and spineless.

For months now, all the fans have been asking for is an update on the situation. Even if nothing definitive, a simple she currently remains on hiatus would suffice. Even news outlets, reputable ones, have been asking for updates.

Nothing from HxG.

But then they decide that 23 year-old Sophia is the perfect spokesperson for them? Knowing that all the girls have been getting non-stop hate for this situation. And now that the hate is finally dying down a bit, they once again, make her the spokesperson for them and send a new wave of hate to her.

I know their pr team probably lurks here, if you are reading this, know that all of you are cowards and spineless and weak.

Hopefully, we can get the departure announcement some time this week. This whole situation has been mismanaged and over complicated by the label.

They’ve been able to hide behind the scenes while the 20-something girls have taken the brunt of the hate.

I can’t believe the Katseye that gave me so much joy last year is truly over.

PS. Do not even think about coming under my post talking about Manon solos. Not everyone who talks about her positively is a solo. I will block you. If you can’t read and think critically, move on to another post.

I just have to laugh because before this saint saltine thing, a lot of haters were saying that HxG made a mistake with the fan voting because Manon should have never been picked for the group. Which is dumb but whatever.

Now after the finale yesterday, when the decision-making was left entirely up to the execs and they made a choice that no one liked, people are now saying they are making the same mistake they made with Manon.

How is that possible? One was fan voted the other was judges choice. Somehow Manon is a problem in both scenarios.

I remember someone said Manon was setup to be the scapegoat and it rings true more and more.

Everyday, no matter the situation, Manon can and will be blamed for everything.

I’m not trying to be mean but some of this fandom needs to take a class on critical thinking. And it’s mostly relating to the fact that you take speculation as fact.

I’m going to rant so might be a bit long.

The first one that gets me is the whole Dani and Manon “beef”. I don’t know them personally and won’t even pretend to the intricacies of their relationship but it’s funny how somehow them interacting less with each other is proof they have beef and not just the normal explanation of it’s a group of six girls. There are periods where you see some interacting more with each other than others.

Dani and Megan were extremely close in DA then you saw them spend less time with each other once they debuted but the idea of beef was never brought up so why was it brought up with Danon. I get that it was jarring to see them go from always together to now always with Sophia and Lara but they also showed multiple examples of them still being close even after their “beef”.

I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t be running holding hands with the girl I’m beefing with. Or spend a day shopping alone with her. Or continue to live in an apartment together long after our beef started.

Next is the Sophia and Lara are nepo babies. There’s a difference between privileged and nepotism. They both come from rich families that definitely provided resources to get them where they are, but to say their families are the only reason they got in the group formed on a vote based show is astonishing.

And on a related note, Manon’s auntie having a huge mansion is not proof that she came from the richest family in Switzerland. I had an aunt who married a rich man. She helped us out if times were rough, but that didn’t mean my family suddenly became rich by proxy.

A rich girl wouldn’t talk about how expensive getting her hair done in Switzerland is or having to work in a cafe for extra income. I’m not saying her family was poor but to say they are rich when there’s no definitive proof doesn’t make sense.

Most annoying, believing all those anonymous sources. There have been countless posts talking about knowing the details of the hiatus. All of them saying completely different things yet somehow, some of them are believable while others are not. The only reason some of them are believable is because they justify some of your own biases.

I’m sorry but a Reddit user with the Suga flair is probably going to want to defend Hybe ( the label that created their baby BTS) against racist allegations.

The stage manager of the group or whatever they said, is not going to risk getting sued for breaching their NDA to come on Reddit. Especially after giving away an identifier.

A worker on one of their brand deals is not going to know the intimate details of the group. If that was the case then thousands of people are walking around with the know all yet somehow, not even 10% of them have come forward.

A Twitter user based in SOUTH AMERICA is not going to know about Manon’s behavior and the girls and label’s resentment towards her.

A French influencer is not going to know about something happening in LA.

No, Dani did not make a suicide pact with Missy to kick Manon out. This is not Euphoria or 13 reasons why. This is real life.

No, a board of old men are not going to let Megan and Lara dictate a decision that has affected their reputation and pockets.

A former “friend” in Switzerland is not going to come here saying she had the worst reputation back home, provide a picture of her in a public park and give the most detailed account of how horrible she was then say she can’t provide more because the company will sue. You’ve already given proof. If they are not going to sue for that why would they sue for anything else. Provide more conclusive evidence. HxG are not going to spend money sending lawyers after some random in another country because they spoke about their own experience. Somehow she was the worst person, but no one else has come forward to give their account. None of the girls she stole boyfriends from, none of the people she manipulated, no one. Not during DA. Not directly after they debuted. Not even when this hiatus is the perfect time with the whole world watching .

All of these people are probably laughing in their homes at how gullible some of you are. Giving them the attention they clearly craved.

This is exactly what the fans did with the whole Christina piercing and Manon rightfully called it out. Yet you are doing the exact same thing.

Taking speculation as fact. Do better.
