Beast arrived HSBC Live + : how to check rewards ?

Finally after one month of struggle (application -> 30 times Follow Up for corporate email not received-> Rejection -> Escalation -> Super Escalation to Nodal Officer -> re-open application -> send payslip bank statement manually from work email -> approval) received the HSBC Live+ credit card with 8 L limit.

I just say it's one of the wrost credit card application review process among all banks I have experienced so far.

Anyway do anyone know how to check how much rewards/cashback I got on a transaction using this card?

HSBC Live+ Credit Card rejected after 17 days for "VKYC not completed" even though HSBC confirmed VKYC was successful

Wanted to share my recent HSBC Live+ application experience and see if anyone else has faced something similar.

Timeline:

• Applied for HSBC Live+

• Completed Video KYC on 1 June

• Received an email from HSBC confirming that my Video KYC was successfully completed

• Application then got stuck at "Employment Email Verification Pending"

• No verification email arrived for several days

• Called customer care multiple times

• Verified that my corporate email ID was correct

• Checked inbox, spam, junk and quarantine folders

• Was repeatedly told to wait because the verification email could not be resent

After multiple follow-ups and even an escalation email, I finally received the employment verification email and completed it immediately.

A few days later, HSBC representatives were still telling me that the verification was not completed, despite me having already completed it and informed them accordingly.

Today, after roughly 17 days of waiting, my application was declined.

The reason provided?

"VKYC not completed successfully."

This is the part that completely confuses me because I have an HSBC email confirming that the Video KYC was successfully completed on 1 June.

So now I'm trying to understand:

  1. Has anyone else received a rejection citing VKYC failure even after receiving a successful VKYC completion email?

  2. Is this just a generic rejection reason used by HSBC when there is a backend workflow issue?

  3. Is there any point escalating further or should I simply move on?

The most frustrating part isn't even the rejection. Banks can reject applications.

The frustrating part is spending 17 days following up, receiving contradictory information from different teams, completing every requested step, and then getting a rejection reason that directly conflicts with HSBC's own communication.

Would appreciate hearing if anyone has experienced something similar with HSBC Live+.
