Not models but still pretty cool! Authentic pre war 1930s luftwaffe and civilian aircraft magazines from Nazi Germany
I know its not models I just think its a cool thing to share!

Can't wait to hang it on the ceiling next to my TBF avenger
I think I have a really great idea to help struggling student pilots, but I have no background in app development. I think my idea could be a genuine gamechanger!
App idea: Squawk! Or Squak-Talk. I'm still trying to find a good name.
So I'm a student pilot, and over my time working on getting my private pilot liscence (PPL), there has always been one area I and many other student pilots struggle with: ATC communication and Radio calls.
The app I envision takes what is usually a stressful and complicated part of flight training and turns it into an effective, fun, and engaging learning tool to make those radio calls like second nature!
A sort of duo lingo style app where the user is prompted with voiced ATC commands and the user must say the correct response in order to progress. The app starts off super basic with simple traffic pattern and taxi calls at Non towered airports where they get shown the ropes of basic radio calls. Once they have the basics done, they will then be introduced to ATC or air traffic control, where they now have to follow precise real-world scenario instructions from the ATC controller. As the user plays and gets more familiar with the basics, they then gradually transition into tougher, more complex radio scenarios such as: crowded airspace where the user must actively listen for their prompts and avoid stepping on other planes radio calls. I also see it having other features like a section on learning the phonetic alphabet because that is what we use during radio calls.
The app can have reward systems like badges that the player can earn for stuff like: Perfect lingo! For a 100% correct scenario, or daily streaks and such.
This is just a kind of rough draft for what I think if done correctly could help hundreds of thousands of student pilots, ATC controllers, and be a fun experience for any aviation nerd who just wants to learn!
I know that there are currently tools to accomplish this but what could make this app more unique is the casual "gamified" approach that is easily accessible on mobile and unlike other learning tools, not locked behind extremely expenive pay walls.
