What’s a book you’d trust with a stranger for a 2 day train ride? 🚂📚

I’m travelling from Bangalore to Delhi soon for a Himachal trip, and I had this random thought, instead of buying a new book, what if I carried a story that already belonged to someone else?
So… does anyone here have a book they’d want a complete stranger to read on a long train journey? Could be your favourite book, a book that changed you, a book with notes/highlights, or even something you never got around to finishing yourself.
I’ll read it somewhere between chai stops, side upper berth overthinking sessions, and random conversations with co passengers across India 😭
And when I’m done, I can either:
mail it back,
pass it forward to another traveller,
or leave it in a café/library in Himachal for another stranger to find.
Kinda wanna see where one book can travel.
Also drop your train reading recommendations below because 36+ hours on Indian trains can either become a life changing movie… or pure boredom 💀
PS: if this actually works, I’ll update the thread with the book’s journey lol.

2 cousins heading to Himachal for 8 days with 10 tabs, need the ultimate trip advice 🌄🫠

Me and my cousin are planning an 8 day Himachal trip soon and we’re trying to make it one of those unforgettable, reality bending mountain journeys.
We’ll be carrying 10 tabs with us (5 each) and we’re trying to plan the trip properly instead of randomly going overboard. Anybody experienced with long mountain trips + psychedelics, how would you pace it out over 8 days without completely frying yourselves by day 3? 😭
Also would love recommendations for:
best places to trip in Himachal
peaceful villages/cafés
scenic stays/hostels
sunrise/sunset spots
easy treks with insane views
music/artsy vibes
hidden gems tourists miss
places with the best energy

POV: You want T-gear that survives Himachal and still looks good in photos 😭

Reaching Delhi before heading to Himachal and I need help from the experienced people here.
Where do people actually buy:
T- pants
Jackets
Fleeces
T-shoes
WITHOUT looking like an NPC from a Discovery Channel documentary? 💀
I want gear that’s:
Good quality
Not insanely expensive
Actually stylish enough for pictures
Is Decathlon the best option or are there hidden Delhi spots/markets that t-gear know about?
Also, what’s one t-item you regret buying cheap?

Also the menu:
Veg Tandoori Chicken

At this point I’m waiting for:

I didn’t expect this.
Electronic City Phase 1 actually has a spot where people are just… hanging out. Not rushing. Not stuck in traffic. Just being there.

Open amphitheatre. Big screen. IPL playing.
People sitting in groups, some solo, some working, some just talking like they’ve known each other for years.
Entry is free. No pressure to order anything. No “you need to leave” vibe.

I went in thinking I’d watch a bit of the match and leave.
Ended up staying way longer… talking to random people, sharing tables, just good energy overall.

It felt different. Almost like people wanted to be there, not just killing time.

Maybe Electronic City isn’t as dead as we think?
Would you actually go to a place like this just to meet new people?

If you want the location, DM me.
