Need Advice Regarding Saudi Work Visa / QVP / SVP Issue

I’m a Computer Science graduate currently going through the Saudi work authorization process and need advice from anyone who faced a similar issue.

Initially, the company applied under a Computer Science skilled profession. My QVP was approved, but later there was an issue with SCE because my degree is not yet 5 years old.

Then they applied under “Project Management Specialist,” but the QVP was rejected because my degree title did not exactly match the profession/category.

Now the company says the remaining option is a lower-category profession. They assigned me a Loading & Unloading visa, but I failed the Skilled Verification (SVP) test.

Could anyone please suggest:

- Any visa/profession that does not require SVP?

- Or any other possible workaround for this situation?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Computer Science Skilled Profession Rejected Due to Degree Title Mismatch – Need Advice

Hi everyone,

I’m a Computer Science graduate currently going through the Saudi work authorization process and would appreciate advice from people who faced similar issues.

Initially, the company applied under a Computer Science skilled profession. My QVP was approved, but later there was an issue with SCE because my degree is not yet 5 years old.

After that, they applied under “Project Management Specialist,” but the application was rejected during QVP because my degree title did not exactly match the selected profession/category.

Now the company is saying the remaining option is to proceed under a lower-category profession first and later try to change the profession after arrival in Saudi Arabia.

I want to understand:

  • Has anyone gone through a similar situation?
  • Were you later able to successfully change to a skilled profession?
  • How difficult is profession change nowadays with Qiwa/Saudization rules?
  • Is there any long-term risk in proceeding this way?
  • Could degree title mismatch continue causing issues later as well?

I would really appreciate honest experiences and guidance from people already working in KSA.

Thanks.
