Java springboot is so vast once u dive into it, first java, then springboot, then microservices, exploring message queues , and what not

But nowadays what I have seen is that top companies organizing their hackathons, for fresh graduates

Most of them are ml based ai based, like making a model XYZ model, something like a model that detects deepfake images , that's just an example

What is the role of java springboot then, i sometimes feel I wasted my time learning this, i think I should have master python, what are ur thoughts

I want to get into big tech companies, i know it's tough, i know the market is bad, I am from a tier 3 college, so things become even worse.

But my friends, they don't grind leetcode, they keep making those MCP projects, or those token reducing types projects, keep posting about that on LinkedIn, AI,AI,AI,contribute to Open source

They don't even have a LC account

And me roj kutto ki tarah DSA ghista hun, backend (java) projects banaata hu, core subjects padhta hu

Should I change my approach, my target is to become SDE at a good company

The sad part is that I am in my final year and I have started doubting myself

This person probably keeps bragging of his leetcode skills, apne aap ko bhagwaan samajhta hain

From getting 10-15k+ ranks in first 10 contests, suddenly started getting 3 digit ranks, what are the chances that he cheats in Leetcode contest

I went to the rank section, saw his profile, and I saw there was something like "External Paste of >500 Characters, I have seen this in multiple contests, on his profile

So I am gonna learn kafka now, and implement it in one of the projects , available on LeetJourney Yt channel

Apart from that i will learn redis also, then AWS, i am done with springboot, just want to deep dive into advanced concepts

So is it a good profile for a backend engineer, I am a college student

I am only afraid of one thing That I am not into Geni ai or Agentic ai, do I need to do that as well, or is it required only for these specific roles

For now can I just keep doing Java springboot and DSA

Restarting my streak

I am gonna enter 7th semester now, the end game 💀

It's not a good college, so not many companies, will be trying for big tech companies offcampus too,

My DSA is pretty average, I did A2Z, but could do it only 70% , now it's too long to revise completely, I am not good at contests as well 🫤, not good at pattern recognition

So can I complete Neetcode 150, will it help me in the revision part, and also might help in pattern building

I am just all the time distracting myself from the thought of watching "That one video" again, maybe video of "That one actress again" maybe "That one particular scene" or something similar

Stopping myself from typing that one combination of explicit words in incognito that I think might give me some of the "best" (best my foot) videos suggestions

But I won't let the devil inside me win this battle
