Schengen Transit anxiety
Hello everyone
I'm traveling to Colombia Cartagena from Casablanca airport, i have one transit of three hours through Madrid, my round flight has been booked through Iberia and i won't be changing terminals in Madrid (arriving at 4S and taking off to Bogota from 4S). I have called the Spanish embassy and they said I don't need a transit visa in my case but i'm hearing so much talk about Moroccan border control stopping people from boarding flights like these and i'm extremely anxious about my travel.
Its my first international flight ever and i have saved so much to be able to go on it, i'm working full time (CDI) and I'm going on holidays for this on my paid leave.
Honestly it feels so unfair to have to worry about not being able to board my flight, losing hard earned money and my holidays that ive been looking forward to getting ruined. There's no explicit law or regulation that prohibits people from having such itineraries, why not make it loud and clear so that people know which routes to pick for their travels?
