Hello there. I received your texts, and I wasn’t ignoring you. I was taking my time to respond because I didn’t want to be misunderstood. I’ve been thinking, and I’ve come to recognize that while there is care on both sides, our capacities and availability haven’t always been aligned.
I’m willing to move slowly, with no pressure or obligation on either of us, and I respect your need for space. At the same time, I can’t continue investing my time and energy in a connection where I feel there is inconsistency. I need reliability and follow-through. I don’t want to minimize my needs or accept uncertainty as a normal dynamic between us. I think that’s reasonable.
Let’s find what feels good and works for both of us.
