JDM Major Craft rod specs

i’ve been looking for a 2-5kg rod to pair with a 2500hg miravel and 12lb briad to fish off boat and pier for squid, flathead, snapper and other bread and butter fish. i wanted to cast up to 15g to give me room for bigger lures for bigger fish and was hoping to try and catch decent sized fish.

i looked and found this rod and it has perfect cast weight for what i’m doing casting really light and up to 15 grams aswell but i noticed that the linw rating is really low so was confused as i’m pretty sure that means that the rod will snap beforebthe line if any line over 6lb is used?

my td black has a 1-8g cast weight and is 1-4kg so i don’t want to get another ultra light but this rod says that the line rating is lighter than my td black while casting double it’s max? and i wanted a medium light rod for bigger fish species. would this rod be too light for bigger species?

What model Luvias for a 1-4 kg rod?

I’m so confused with the models on japan lure shop as i need the sealed and long lasting model with 5kg or higher drag

Vanford vs Luvias vs Td black for light tackle in aus

Vanford 24 vs Luvias vs Td Black 24

I have been fishibg for a while and wanted an upgrade from my miravel and td black scratchy 2. What reel and model would pair best for my rod to fish artificials for snapper flathead trevally and other common species. I also wanted to know the difference between 5kg and 10kg of drag as i don’t know how big of a deciding factor tgat is. i still want to be able to have a chance if i play it well to catch fish like these - image
