Alright, we are planning our Disney World trip for the last week of January 2027. We originally wanted to stay on property, but only Pop Century / All Stars would fit our budget goals. We discovered that the skyliner will be down and that takes away a huge perk. We are now considering staying off property at a good neighbor hotel. What are your recommendations?
I see the Drury mentioned quite a bit, but for our dates the prices is $1,500...which would be the same as staying on property if not more.
We would LOVE free breakfast, and free shuttle service. We would LIKE early access entry, and free parking.
We are also debating getting a rental car. Our original plan was to just uber from the airport and use shuttle service during our stay at the parks or ubering.
We are not very familiar, but from our research - shuttles are either continuous or scheduled (especially at off property hotels). They go to each park directly except for Magic Kingdom, where they drop you off at the transportation station where you take the Ferry or monorail. Now...huge con is waiting to go in the morning and leave at night, as lines can be a huge wait. So, is a rental car and paying for parking better? Are ubers/lyfts a cheap option (doubt it)?
We APPRECIATE your insights and Disney wisdom 💙✨
Hello! We are planning to go to Disney World in January 2027. Now, I see that individual day tickets are available, but not the 4-day 4-park deal that also comes with your resort stay. Does anyone know when these will be available ?
Also, which resort is best? I’ve been looking and it says the skyline is down the week we want to be there, so that decreases the benefits of certain resorts.
Thank You!
I booked a flight to Florida for January 2027 as well as the insurance policy. Right now, tickets are the lowest they have been in a while, but I am reading that they drop lower in October-December.
I was planning on rebooking a cheaper flight if it comes up, but that means I would miss the "refundable period" for the travel insurance (assuming they don't drop drastically in the next 10 days). Is there a way to add insurance after you've bought the tickets (in the case they don't drop much at all? Should I cancel the insurance policy and just hope for cheaper tickets to come along and get insurance with those? What is the best strategy here?
Thank you!
Hello! My partner and I are just beginning to travel. We finally got our passports in and are thinking of traveling abroad in 2027! We have a summer trip to RI planned, and are thinking of seeing a national park in the fall.
We are looking for advice on where to go, both in the U.S. and abroad. Our goal is to travel SOMEWHERE at least every season. We don't want to visit anywhere where it is going to be crazy packed, unless it is absolutely and completely worth it. We also want to alternate sort of grand trips and less expensive ones.
So what places do you recommend for winter, spring, summer, and fall?
Thank You! We are so grateful for your wisdommm!
