This is back when Martin St was known as warzone and Squint was one of the top members from there. Squint’s family sued HPD for violating his constitutional rights. They argued that police actions (or lack thereof) surrounding the handling of his situation and the response to the shooting deprived him of his rights under federal law and they settled out of court. Sadly Squint’s mother passed away 8 months after his death in January 2006.

He would do to prison time for the three shootings and was let out 2017. But got locked up a while later for gun charge and wasn’t released again till late 2020 then the feds raided his house in May 2021 but he wasn’t home and he fled & went on the run for four years as a fugitive till he was captured in July 2025 and sentenced to 81 months in May 2026

2007-2008 money green Bedrocc and the sands started beefing because Money green Bedrocc wanted control of the sands apartments since it was one of the most lucrative and high-volume open-air drug markets in the entire city of Hartford and sands niggas refused and pushed back and this started back and fourth shootings immediately between the two. This meant money green Bedrocc now had beef west of them with the ave and east of them with the sands and later on west hell would be added/included to their opp list after a failed clique up. For a small crew money green Bedrocc was pretty much ebk and fighting everybody around them and it’s not really hard to see why they didnt last long and died out by late 2009-early 2010. Decky would brag about banga’s murder and would be shot 8 days later (with J Hood) by the ave as revenge for chunk’s death (they were really searching for Zeke but saw decky and knew he would be a big score) , a shooting decky survived but was paralyzed from waist down and would leave him permanently in a wheelchair. Decky would be arrested for banga’s death in 2018 and sentenced to 40 years.

I’m not dropping the full facts on his death yet until I got everything I need because his death is probably the most complicated in Hartford. So with Murph word on the streets I got from homies from Gzz side and his family (his mother Janet was bestfriends with my mom and use to braid her hair when they lived on Barbour st). During the time of Murph death was going to college in mass and had moved to Windsor but still regularly returned to Hartford and went to Barbour and still got involved in street bs. Now what I was told that Murph and few other dudes (not gone say they names) robbed someone and Murph was the getaway driver. So when Murph was killed it was speculated either a dude from the gzz side killed Murph or the dude they robbed hunt them down and shot them but everyone pretty much thinks it was someone in the hood that killed Murph (not gone say the name but they think it was Corey Mack son because they said whoever killed Murph had to know him cause they lured him into the alley where he was shot. Corey Mack is an older dude from the that area he was from Stowe village and was 20 love. Interesting fact about Corey Mack he was shot exactly a year after Murph death in June 2017 on Plainfield street. He died in a car accident in 2021. His sons are actually big names in gzz hood and some wild niggas too I went to the pub with one of his sons. It’s weird cause his daughter Shakora from the ave. Chopacito mentioned her in the song fuck you pay me ‘and my pockets real fat like Shakora if you go with six deuce you can get across the border’.) nine hours after Murph was killed. The gzz (not gone say names) ran up in tj aka Tee Longwayy crib in east Hartford and robbed him and shot and killed him and also shot his pregnant gf.
