Need help to hybrid or not
My Budget is under 40k OTD. I plan on driving this car into the ground but I’ve said that before and my adhd takes over at some point. I’m think of getting a Sportage hybrid Ex and know the risks but everything else in the same class with similar features pushes that budget. I’d go for something bigger or any other suggestions. Would love the forester if I wasn’t already angry watching people work the infotainment system. I do mostly highway miles.
My main goals is having ample storage space. I need 75 inches diagonally in the back so can’t really do anything smaller. I want tech and a moonroof. That’s about all my must haves. Obviously I want good mpg. I’ve been intrigued by hybrids but wondering if I’ll ever truly see the value if I don’t have this thing for 7 years. Is it worth the 5-9 extra mpg? If I have it for 70k plus will resale fall because of worries about the battery? Rav 4 is out of the question, no one has the model you want and they act like you are asking for a Ferrari.
