Does anyone know if EU citizens can complete an Erasmus+ traineeship to support themselves during a summer internship that is unpaid or poorly paid during the summer of an enrolled master's program like EMJM? I checked and it says studying abroad is eligible but technically my whole master's is 'studying abroad' albeit within the EU in 4 different countries. Our thesis can be done outside of the EU and we loose funding if we leave the EU for more than 3 months so maybe applying for it during the thesis might make more sense than for summer internships (or does the Erasmus+ traineeship require you to stay in the EU exclusively?).

Brother has an interview with AZ in Arizona for a master's level intership and is being considered for either a PE or ISEP position. Any advice/insights into what might be expected for the interview, he is ChemE undergrad and MatSci master's. Was also wondering what the hourly rate + total intern compensation was and if its higher than the undergraduate level which seemed to be quoted around $45/hr.
