Finally got infotainment manually updated

I was stuck on LK3D in D/FW, Texas. First dealer I went to did nothing in 6 hours (Longhorn Nissan in Hurst), but Don Davis Nissan in Arlington was able to do it. I had opened a support case with Nissan and referenced that ticket number, meaning they had to try harder, and it took 2 days. I also reminded them to contact Nissan EV Support, which they did. They had to do 4 updates sequentially that took several hours each. (A USB stick was involved for some reason and the connection to Nissan is slow.)

So I have a battery header widget now that it's almost 100 degrees. :)

Maybe now I'll get future updates? I read that the 2027 Ariya has a different infotainment system, so I doubt there will be many more for earlier models.

Start a trip using Siri in CarPlay?

To start a route I can say" "navigate to X using Waze" (or Google Maps or Apple Maps). But this does not with "ABRP" or "a better route planner". Is this supported using another phrase? How can I do this?

Why can't you add a stop to a charger while on a plan?

I had left early on a 4 hour route to a Drs appt in case there was unexpected traffic. I realized I'd arrive very early and since I was going to drive back right after, I wanted to charge before the appointment instead of after.

I didn't find a way to add a stop to a charger, meaning I'd have to cancel my current plan to locate one. I could add a stop for food, restroom, etc, but not a charger. I though this was odd.

Why can't you add a stop to a charger while on a plan?

~"This route is no longer viable" error message?

Three times on a route from Arlington, TX to Houston, TX, ABRP (CarPlay) showed a message like "This route is no longer viable". There was a button to show alternates, but when I clicked it nothing was shown. It dismissed the message and the existing route kept working. What does this mean? I don't see how a route could not be viable anymore unless a road closed or something...which I don't think is the case.

Overall, it did a good job routing. The estimated life at destination was within a percent on my car.

Dealer cabin air filter?

I took my car in for the Carefree+ visit because Nissan kept bugging me. I figured I'd at least get a cabin air filter. But it did not have a Nissan part number. It corresponded to Premium Guard or something. Advisor claimed that's the same item you'd get if you purchased it from parts department. Any other opinions?

Post alignment visit to the dealer required?

The tire shop near me offers alignments now. Since I'd read here and in forums about others having issues getting alignments, I asked if their system had any notes about Ariya. He printed them out and at top left it says to visit the dealer afterward to perform "special tools/procedures" if car is equipped with certain features. Is it just a calibration? And assuming it left the factory properly aligned and calibrated, if a shop puts it back to normal alignment, why would it need calibration? Any thoughts?

Can the dealer update to any available SW version?

I'm one of the many who has not seen a SW update since 283C37LK3D.

I think I'm 4 versions behind at this point.

Can the dealer do these update or not? Most posts indicate no, but I've seen a couple that claim they had an update at the dealer (past my version).

The service manager also says they can, but I've not ever been able to actually talk to the "1 guy who does it".
