How important is deleting old, non performing content pieces?

We have a blog with about 500 posts, many are over 3 years old and aren't ranking for much and receive very little traffic, if any. We had an SEO agency that said we should at some point clean up the old posts as we only get a certain amount of "Google juice" per site and right now it's being split across all those old posts as well as the new better optimised posts. So hurting out ability to get ranked for the new/better stuff.

TLDR; at what point should we start deleting/archiving old posts? Is better to remove them or to try and better optimise them?

Groups for moms raising sons

Does anyone know of any reddit communities (or communities on other platforms) for 2 mom household raising sons? I naively searched "lesbian moms" on reddit and, well, i'm sure you can all guess what kind of stuff came up.

Made something for the gays who are miles from the nearest parade

Up until 2 years ago I always lived in cities with Pride parades and non-stop events. Then my wife and I moved to a small town with zero Pride events and June got real quiet. I hadn't really realized how city-centric Pride is until I was suddenly on the outside of it.

So I built something. It's a Goosechase Experience (sort of a digital scavenger hunt if you've never done one before) that runs all June with a new mission every morning. Mix of trivia, photo challenges, and video prompts. Some of the Thursdays are especially fun. The whole thing is designed to feel like community even when we're rural and miles apart.

It's called "Out. Here."

So far it's just me and my cousin 😂 so would love for some of you to join us.
