I feel like a lot of people need to hear this. Especially the ones who get angry easily over a loss. The better player won’t always win. Infact, sometimes the better player will lose A LOT. It’s not your fault. This game has several factors completely outside of your control that will decide if you win a match. Your teamates, lucky shots, unlucky timings, lucky shots, unlucky mistakes, someone having a life game, lucky shots, lucky shots….. no game other then like maybe chess has the optimal outcome of better player=win

Save your ego and mental. Just play to improve and you will eventually see results. Some quicker than others. Dont blame the game (Valorant is objectively a great game), but don’t blame yourself either. Also for my people on the come up that are just starting the game and learning, don’t let unlucky losses or even any loss in general make you discredit the progression you have done for yourself

I started playing this game last year (500ish hours, 18k prem, lvl 5 faceit) and tbh sometimes I’ve gotten a little scared to get super deep into this game since all I see on this subreddit is posts saying that the games unplayable, they only face cheaters, etc. I haven’t seen one singular cheater at all through my time playing. I understand that obviously you’re mainly gonna see angry people getting destroyed in ranked come to this subreddit to slander the game, but I just don’t understand? Am I just lucky? Or are there WAY less cheaters then the angry Reddits claim there are.

I also see 99% of the people who claim they only face cheaters have a low trust factor. I believe that I’m high trust factor, but is it just that low trust factor people get these games, and that’s why I’m not seeing the problem? I’ve always heard that you can get out of red trust factor fairly easy, and that it’s harder to be in red than in green.
