Okay I need someone to tell me if I’m overthinking this because I’m genuinely spiraling.
So there’s this person with a public account. I had 2 linked Instagram accounts (both private), account 2 and account 3.
Months ago, they sent follow requests to both accounts (or at least I KNOW they did on account 2, not even sure about 3 anymore). I accepted them only on account 2. We followed each other there. Later they blocked me on account 2.

After that, I couldn’t search their username anymore on either account 2 OR 3, which I heard can happen with linked accounts/blocking.
Now months later, I made account 3 public. The second I did that, all pending follow requests disappeared automatically because the account was public.
NOW I’m panicking thinking, IF they had sent a request to account 3 months ago, did Instagram automatically “accept” it and notify them?? Like would they get a notification saying account 3 accepted their request??
I really do not want them to know anything about account 3 and my brain is convincing me they got notified somehow.

But my anxiety is making me think the worst. Does making a private account public send any notification to old pending followers or automatically “accept” requests in a noticeable way though I was blocked on the other account??
