SM-X210 Android 16 FRP Bypass
Hi all,
It is a Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ 64GB 4GB
Found this tablet with a smashed screen in the recycling centre, unfortunately it is FRP locked.
I have tried using SamFwTool, the $30 version as well and it doesn’t work, says this model is not supported.
The only way I have been able to “bypass” FRP is by flashing the Chinese ROM on it as it doesn’t require Google login during setup, so I was able to setup the tablet and I am now on the home screen and even logged in with my own Samsung account, however I cannot setup a lock screen or factory reset the tablet via the settings as these options simply crash the settings app.
I now have developer mode enabled with USB debugging and ADB enabled.
Thanks.
New €3 Customs Charge
Hi all,
I’m aware of the new €3 minimum customs charge on packages outside the EU coming July 1st but it’s very confusing. The communication from Revenue/AnPost/EU/Retailers has been very poor regarding this change.
For example, most of my online shopping is on Amazon UK as I have Prime, and the prices tend to be the cheapest and same with the delivery and returns.
Amazon UK already for years has been calculating any shipping/import charges/VAT in the checkout, so the package arrives into Ireland without the buyer having to do anything.
However the last few days I have been looking at some stuff on Amazon UK and it arrives after the 1st of July but there’s no extra fee that appears in the checkout?
Does this mean that if I now place an order will AnPost swipe my package and charge me €3 and €6.95 to release it? Or is Amazon simply eating the cost? I cannot find an official statement.
Some retailers such as Very and some other Chinese ones have said that the price you pay in checkout is the price you pay, they will absorb the new customs charges on your behalf.
So is Amazon also eating the cost? Will it be added in checkout? Does it only apply to orders placed after the 1st of July? Will AnPost screw me over? I cannot find any official statement about this whatsoever. I saw some articles where Amazon IE have said that some packages on Amazon IE will still have this charge applied due to being shipped from the UK and Amazon is encouraging sellers to move stock and they are going to be expanding their fulfilment centres etc.. but they don’t explain if this new €3 fee will be added at checkout or if AnPost is gonna rob me blind with their €6.95 admin fee.
Thanks.
EDIT: I think Amazon UK might have found a loophole, if you add something to your checkout, there’s a section that says “Ships from”, and it says “Ships from Amazon EU SARL” for most packages, implying they are routing/classifying the stuff as coming from the EU, so they should be exempt from the Customs Fee.
EDIT 2: I found the following on the Amazon Seller Central page for Amazon Haul (Amazon’s Temu competitor): “If your products are enrolled in Haul, we will add the €3 import duty to the customer facing price on the product detail page, in the cart, and at checkout for items in customer shipments with a value of €150 or less, and calculate the VAT as per existing rules.”. So it seems Amazon will be taking care of this at checkout.
EDIT 3: I found this on another Seller Central page: “Regarding your second question about the €3 flat customs duty: Yes, Amazon will be collecting the €3 flat customs duty on low-value e-commerce parcels under €150 entering the EU from July 1, 2026, as part of the EU Customs Reform (EUCR). Under this reform, Amazon becomes a 'Deemed Importer," making us responsible for collecting customs duties and handling fees at checkout and remitting these amounts to EU customs authorities. From July 1, 2026, we will collect a €3 flat customs duty per product on shipments of goods valued under €150 entering the EU. In November 2026, an additional €2 Customs Handling Fee per product will be added, bringing the total to €5 per product. This applies to all B2C products sold on Amazon EU and non-EU stores that are imported into the EU, including
Retail, FBA, and Merchant-Fulfilled-by-Merchant (MFN) orders.”
So it seems Amazon will be handling everything after July 1st, more than likely they will be eating the cost for any packages/orders placed before 1st of July.
MoneyGuideIreland also says that Amazon will continue to collect this fee, but won’t refund it upon a return.
Guy enters roundabout at speed and checks his right last second...
Had this happen to me on the weekend, looking back at the dash cam footage I can see that my lane positioning is not great here and I do apologise for that and will make sure to do better in the future but what this driver did is way worse.
