Pre-scan anxiety

I’m almost 32 and getting my first imaging today (MRI). I’m also breastfeeding so my breasts feel lumpy and tender all the time. How do you deal with the anxiety? I’m so terrified

Just found out

I just tested positive for BRCA 1. I’m 31 and have a 1 year old daughter. We found out because my mom has triple negative breast cancer at 57. I’m feeling scared and very overwhelmed. I wanted to have one or two more kids and now my husband and I are very split on how we should move forward. I feel like we should pursue IVF and he feels like we should have kids naturally. I also want to be able to breastfeed my kids but I have raging health anxiety and I’m worried I’m going to be stressed until I have preventative surgery. I guess I’m just looking to see what other people’s experiences have been with having kids and timing surgeries. It’s a lot of hard decisions

So overwhelmed

My mom just told me that she has triple negative breast cancer and was found to have BRCA 1. They found it very early and she’s going to be aggressive in her treatment so they’re hoping for good outcomes. I’m scared for her but also very overwhelmed at the genetic implications for me and my one year old daughter. I’m also starting to think about a second baby and now don’t know if that is in the cards for me. I don’t even begin to know how to navigate supporting my mom, getting the genetic testing done, getting life insurance, etc. I’m so scared and idk where to go from here

Could someone explain this to me like I’m 5

I just started budgeting this month and I’m having trouble wrapping my brain around it. My husband and I usually allocate funds paycheck to paycheck (pay off credit cards, pay bills, put whatever is left in savings).

So I made my first June budget with two paycheck cycles (June 5 and June 19). But now all my expenses after June 19 will need to be paid for with my July 3 paycheck. It also seems like there should be money left over in my June budget but it must’ve been used to pay May expenses? I feel like I’m starting July off in a deficit. I can’t wrap my head around how to make this make sense please help
