I was originally just making one for my husband's birthday...but my son saw the pattern and wanted his own "spider" and if I make one for my husband and son I can't exclude my daughter! Thus a family was born🫣
When I first saw this pattern when I had just started knitting I thought they were the most beautiful mittens I'd ever seen. I had just finished butchering a simple fingerless glove pattern and these felt SO far away but here we are😭 this was my second colorwork project but my first with stranded/fair isle. My first project was the project Hail Mary cardigan, which I did almost exclusively in intarsia so I feel like I learned colorwork backwards!
Super bummed! I have 30 ml of nothing burns like the cold and wanted to get a bigger bottle bc I love it and wasn't worried about it but now I feel like it's going to be a hunger games style rush when orders open.
