spoilers ahead if you’re not that far into the game yet!

so i really disliked how >!when you plant the flower for yasmin, brook essentially kills himself to follow her.!< like he was so selfish for doing that imo. i felt so sad for >!saga!< and the point is probably that not everyone gets a happy ending and grief and love can make you do things, but why would you do that to her?? i know why, but WHY??? it just rubbed me the wrong way, and then >!brook and yasmin have the audacity to come back as ghosts after saga becomes mayor like pls. you left her with no parents and the responsibility of being mayor with no guidance so you could be with your dead wife who is able to come back now anyways…….. right.!< i know >!saga!< is an adult as well and obviously wanted to take over at some point but still!! also side note the story pacing in this game kind of drives me crazy 😭 especially how dates delay story content

hiii loving the game so far 🫶🏻 i just wanted to share something cute that happened during the evernight festival with death (i don’t think the fact that it’s evernight has anything to do with it, but you never know) so i’m dating almost all the bachelors, as one does, and i’m doing my rounds during the evernight festival. i’m hugging death and i go to pull away and a thought bubble text thing appears above him that says, “a little longer…” and it doesn’t let me pull away for a second!! 😫 i’ve never had that happen before now and i thought it was soooo cute like im already having enough trouble deciding who im going to marry, but he’s definitely top contender right now 😭 lmk if any of y’all have gotten this or something similar from anyone else i’m interested 🙂‍↕️

hi!! i’ve never posted herej before but i haven’t seen anyone talk about the beta just yet, so i wanted to share some stuff i noticed! first i noticed that the music doesn’t play on dates/hangouts 95% of the time. second when the npcs ask for hugs you’re both just stuck standing there for a few seconds and they don’t end up hugging you, then if you try to hug them the same thing happens and it says “can’t hug ___ right now” i also haven’t had any npcs ask to hangout, i’m not sure if that’s part of the beta or the final update but it hasn’t happened just yet. i can’t think of anything else right now, but those are the main things so far and im dating almost everyone in town so the hug thing happens a lot lmao

edit: another thing that must be new? from what i’ve seen when you date everyone and pick someone to marry eventually it goes back to single but no one ever said anything about the dialog from the exes!! i’ve only talked to kenny so far but he said “i heard you’re engaged… congrats i guess… tell me the truth you never loved me did you” WHAT!!!! IM 😭
