Does anyone know how to past an image into a cell instead of dragging it?
I need to add many images into individual cells. Right now, the workflow is slow because I have to go to Insert → Image → Insert image in cell, then upload/drag the file through the upload window each time.
Is there a faster way to copy/paste an image directly into a selected cell, so it becomes an image inside the cell rather than floating over the sheet?
Ideally, I’d like to:
- Select a cell
- Copy an image from my computer/browser/clipboard
- Paste it directly into that cell as an in-cell image
Does Google Sheets support this natively, or is there a workaround, shortcut, script, extension, or setting that makes this faster?
