PUBDET BSc LS preparation

Hi everyone.

I'm a class 12 cbse pcb student and im aiming for BSc LS in presidency next year under UR category. As someone with a strong base in biology, an above average in chemistry and a weak student in physics (barely passing). How can I prepare for the exam? I will be honest, I haven't been giving my 100% to p and c and ik I can do better in both but I feel like I don't have enough time to prepare for boards and pubdet and cuet altogether. I mean, I have to cover class 11 syllabus as well and I saw in the pyq papers that many questions are not from ncert for bio. Any book suggestions that I can use?

Help Regarding career options, colleges and college life

Hi everyone, im a class 12 pcb with psychology student from uttar pradesh. As many of you might have expected already, I do not wanna be a doctor but still great interest in biology.

I want to know if my plan sounds solid and realistic or not. I, along with my classmates and teachers, consider myself an above average student, if that helps. I have till now decided to choose BSc life sciences from presidency university, kolkata, as my bachelors because of their prestigious labwork I've been hearing about. Is it really true? After the bachelors, my plan is to continue with an MSc in microbiology, preferably from DU and combine that with some internships to gain experience before stepping into real jobs. Does it sound too far fetched or maybe too reserved?

Along with this, as a North Indian girl, im really scared about living in kolkata. Almost everyone I've talked to has been reacting horribly and saying that kolkata is not a place for a North Indian girl to live in. Is this true? I would love really like to know about the campus of presidency university because the pictures on Google aren't really that promising.

Kindly help me out I would really really appreciate it.

Help Regarding college, social life and career choice

Hi everyone this is my first time on reddit since I needed a real view of the world. I'm a class 12 student right now, from uttar pradesh, studying PCB with psychology (no exact qualifications yet except people at school consider me an above average student but that doesnt really count).

I have great interest in bio but no interest in becoming a doctor anymore because of which I have till now decided to choose BSc life sciences as my bachelors degree from presidency university, kolkata due toh it's "prestigious labwork" I've been hearing about. If not presidency then some mid tier DU colleges are also on my list. My plan after the bachelors degree is to continue with MSc in microbiology, preferably from DU and combine that with a few internships to gain experience. Does this sound like a realistic plan?

Along with this, as a girl and as a student, im really scared about a life in city so far away from home. There is only 1 person I know who lives in kolkata but still the thought of it scares me. Almost everyone who I've told about this plan says that kolkata is not a city for a North Indian girl to live in. Is this true? Kindly help me out I would really appreciate it.
