Looking for someone to take care of my cat

We have a 1.5 year old male cat who we truly love, we adopted him when my father was living abroad, and he has been a very loved part of our home ever since. But now my father has moved back and unfortunately he is allergic to cats. Because of this situation, we sadly have to find a new, loving home for him.

He’s healthy, playful, and has been a big part of our lives, so this is honestly very hard for me. I’m not looking to just “sell” him to anyone. I really want to find someone who genuinely loves cats and can afford to take proper care of him, give him a safe home, food, vet care, and attention.

If you or someone you know can give him a good home, please contact me, please only serious and responsible people only, please.

I keep meeting founders who think their problem is engineering and it's actually that they don't know what they're building

had three conversations this month that went almost the same.

founder reaches out, frustrated with their dev team or contractor or whatever. "we keep missing deadlines, the code is a mess, we need to rebuild." okay sure, sometimes that's true. but I ask what the product is supposed to do in 6 months and they can't tell me. like, genuinely cannot articulate it past "we want to add AI" or "we need to be more like our competitor."

I mean the engineering isn't the problem here. the engineering can't be the problem if there's no clear thing to build toward. You're paying people to guess at what you want and then getting upset when their guesses don't match the guesses in your head.

I'm not saying this to dunk on anyone, I think it's actually really hard to hold a product vision in your head when you're also doing sales and hiring and fundraising. but the move when things feel broken isn't always "find better engineers." sometimes it's stop, write down what the product actually is, what it isn't, and what the next 3 months of it look like. then go back to the team with that.

idk maybe this is obvious. it just keeps coming up.
