How would i controll many motors with a keyboard?

So I want to make a mechanical cossplay for a character and I want to control the tail with a hand keyboard (or some buttons in the hand) i am already going to use an Arduino but im open to other options

The D.U.C.T System

a relic that I have made up that uses a gold duster, a mermaids burp and another relic I made up that can store particles smaller then 500 microns until the sack gets too heavy then it has to be emptied. Its name is the Dust. Unification. containment. Trinket. or DUCT for short.
