Shouldn’t trains be prioritized at stop lights?

Some stations I feel like don’t get used as often because the rail has to go through a intersection, but since a train carry’s more people shouldn’t trains be prioritized at stop lights instead of cars?

How long is the lifespan of a xp4 750?

Only had my xp4 for 4 months and already have 1,000 miles on it as it’s my main commuter. Lectric says it should last til 10k miles before needs a new motor or battery. And it’s supposed to last 3 years. I’ve already put 10% of the total max mileage, is this bad?

I wanna sell my car now

Bought a ebike after having a junker car with 250k miles on it and the ride is so much more pleasant than that old piece of shit I am thinking about selling my car. My commute by bycycle is 15-17 miles depending which route I take to work. It is usually an adventure every time as it does take me 50minutes on average if I bike the whole way or a hour if I use the train. A couple days ago I got a nail in my tire and had a flat. But it was easy to change and just made me think about all the times I’ve had to struggle to put on a spare on my current car. Or when I do basic bike maintenance I think about all the times I’ve changed my breaks and how labor intensive that is. Just solidifies my oppinion that I don’t want a car anymore it’s just always been something thrust onto me cause most city’s lack bike infrastructure. I live in Denver was wondering if I’d be fucking nyself over by getting rid of my car and pocketing the 1,000

Wanna move careers

Wanna move careers to something more bike friendly but don’t know how. I live in a city with a ton of bike lanes, sometimes I bike to work but it’s probably about 20 miles slightly less each way. I have electrical assembly experience and experience with plcs but I feel like work is always far away. Is there any certifications I could get to possibly break into a new career? I live in Denver

Why RTD saves taxpayer dollars

I’ve seen a lot of talk about how much money trains and busses cost RTD to run. I have seen nothing about what these trains and busses save. For one thing every year Colorado dot estimates car crashes cost Colorado 6.2 billion a year. When factoring in broader societal impacts—including lost time, emergency response, and infrastructure damage where safety features were a contributing factor—the total drain on Colorado motorists reaches up to $11.4 billion per year. By having a train line system link up to Denver from the neighboring towns and city’s we are getting people off of the roads and saving lives/money.

Called my locals ubm

Called to complain got told stop my complaining this isn’t the place for it 😂. Hey isn’t that there whole job like what we pay them 100 grand a year for is to meet with the public and listen to members complaints lol. He knows at my current job is non union and I’ve just recently moved into this state a year ago. We’re talking about the test I failed and I said gee really wanna get into the union but seems too competitive cause I actually wire plcs right now, but when I took the the test I failed the math portion. He goes “stop making excuses it’s highschool math, an 18 year old can fucking do it.” I’m like “they teach logs in college I don’t know a single highschool teaching logs,” “ya well your a loser and your little trip to state x isn’t go to well huh? And you’re having trouble with this job huh? Maybe you’re just a loser” he’s like screaming all this at me😂. I’m like “maybe you’re right about the test but all that other shit u just said, you’re retarded.” He hangs up. Says on text “here’s my address if u wanna have a face to face conversation” and he sends me his address to the local. Somehow this guys job is to hear complaints all fucking day and I managed to piss him off by saying the union isn’t perfect and if I knew logs already I’d probably be in test bay at my job making 35$ a hour. And I also just regurgitated what he told me that their local is competitive and only lets in like 10% of applicants 😂

Old room mate contacts me after 6 months claims I need to sign leave of occupancy

My room mate texted me and said that I need to sign a leave of occupancy apparently even though I notified everyone that I left she still kept me as an occupant while moving in another room mate. I have the proof that I notified my landlord so I called the landlord to tell them I already notified. And also since my old room mate was claiming I am a lease holder. “I understand that but as an occupant it’s on the lease u have to sign a leave of occupancy.” I said I’m in an entirely diffrent city now, I’m not a lease holder, it’s been 6 months since I notified and you’re telling me I’m still listed as an authorized occupant when she changed the locks already 😂. They agreed I wasn’t a lease holder but “Yes unfortunately that’s our mistake we’re sorry” I said “do u got a email” and then I proceeded to tell them I’m signing anything on email and I notified 6 months ago I was vacating the property, and I’m not comfortable signing anything. All my friends told me my obligation ended once I notified. And it’s sketchy that I haven’t been living there for 6 months, and the landlord just now is asking me to sign more shit. I just wanted to rant about that. No success with other reddit mods hopefully this doesn’t get removed but thanks for the opportunity anyways.

I get into work and everyone’s asking me about my broken arm even though I’m not in a cast currently and you’d never know something was wrong except through my limp. So I’m guessing my boss violated hippa. 2nd day of work boss says we need this out by Monday so I’m sprinting with my limp. Later in the day around the time he’s about to leave to go home, he sweeps my fucking leg up from under me. I almost lose my balance and fall over. I ask him why he just did that and to not to, he says it was a joke. I say “o battery and assault is a joke?” He goes “I barely nudged u”. I say “I’m gonna take tommorow off”. 😂
