how to get lean

I'm 20 yrs old, male, 75kg bodyweight, and i've been going to the gym for roughly a year now, i have noticed some visible changes and progression is going just fine, but how do i reduce body fat ? i know calorie deficit and cardio is needed, but how do i actually do it ? i don't wanna measure how much oil i'm using in food and all that, since i live with my friends in an apartment anyways, and i don't eat chicken and all just eggs so protein comes from eggs, whey, multigrain bread milk etc.., also i'm seeing online that my maintenance calories are roughly 2500, does that sound right ? i can measure calories in my breakfast easily, and eggs and whey, it's lunch and dinner which become a problem for that
and i dont do much cardio since i stay at home most of the time and even if i wanted to i can't waste so much time on gym + cardio separately, i try to get in 30 mins in gym only but that's it and only 3 days a week (pplul and no cardio on leg days)

when will i learn how to recognize patterns on my own, and how to progress

recently started striver's a2z sheet, i'm on arrays currently, enjoying dsa and solving problems on my own, its just the progress feels slow, like today i was doing the longest subarray with sum k problem that introduced sliding window as a new concept, and i didn't even realize i spent hours on one problem even after solving it trying to understand sliding window and the other solution that uses maps and prefix sum.
i guess my question is, when to know that it's time to look at the solution video, or hints ? i try to ask chatgpt about hints and then solve but have to look at the entire solution sometimes (for optimal ofc), i feel like i am learning things the right way it just feels very slow

Which laptop should i buy for college (Computer Science), already have a good gaming laptop

I have an asus rog strix g16 with very good specs, i9, rtx 4060, 1tb storage and 32 gb ram, it has worked out really well for me for the first two yrs of my degree, and still works properly, only issue is i can't bring it to class for the whole day because of it's battery life and fan noise, if i could reduce the fan noise then it would be great i could run it on energy saver whole day I don't mind carrying it, but running it on eco mode with the gpu turned off still enables the fan for some time and it's really loud for a small class, i would like some laptop recommendations just for classes cuz all the coding stuff I'll do by myself would be on my asus laptop only, and if I use my asus for everyday clg use also, wouldn't running it on battery every day ruin it's battery life very quickly?

For more context my clg is in melbourne and I'm directly joining in the third yr, it's a 2+2 program, some courses offered are full stack, algorithm analysis etc.. idk how they teach things there cuz in my first clg I didn't particularly need a laptop inside classes, i took notes on paper and for labs we used lab computers

I haven't decided on a budget rn but on the cheaper side would be preferable since I don't care about anything other than classes

How to get into full stack development ?

Pretty much what the title says, which language should i choose ? and can anyone share some particular useful resources, free ones, or if the paid ones are better then those will work too, like some certification, i want to learn this skill to combine it with AI/ML further down the line, i have practically zero experience in both, i have finished second yr in college so i just know the basics of java, C and sql, and will full stack and ml be enough to land a good job in the future? i know more skills will be needed and i've seen many things mentioned pretty much everywhere but i want to start somewhere
