Does Anyone here hav eexperience working for 'We localize'?

Sorry, couldnt change the title - OBVIOUSLY this is WeLO related stuff here - reddit moved my post over here - .

Question about Welocalize AI/data quality analyst roles

I was recently approached for a quality/data quality analyst role involving AI evaluation/data labeling with Welocalize.

The application process has been pretty disorganized so far. I haven’t received clear answers about equipment, onboarding, location expectations, or what the day-to-day work actually looks like.

I was initially interviewed for one role, then offered a slightly different role at a lower hourly rate. The original description suggested the work could be remote, but I’m now being told the role is mandatory full-time onsite with no exceptions. I’m also still unclear on basic details like where the work would take place, who the client is, and what the schedule/task flow actually looks like.

Has anyone here worked in this type of role with Welocalize, especially AI evaluation, data quality, or labeling projects?

I’m mainly trying to understand:

  • Is mandatory onsite work normal for these roles, or are some people able to work remotely?
  • Is it truly 40 hours of continuous work, or does it depend on task availability?
  • How reliable are the hours and payments?
  • What is management/onboarding like?
  • Are sudden role changes, unclear communication, or lower-than-advertised rates common?

I’m trying to figure out whether this is just normal contractor chaos or whether these are real red flags. I’d appreciate hearing from anyone who has worked with them directly, especially on AI evaluation or data quality projects.

I was approached for a quality/data evaluation gig with Welocalize at $40/hour. Has anyone worked with them before?

It’s for AI evaluation, possibly related to Meta. It's the Project Perseus. Anyone here done this gig before?

I’ve worked as a Product Manager for about a decade, but I haven’t been able to find a full-time role this past year, so I really need income and have to seriously consider it.

The application process so far has been pretty chaotic. They contacted me on LinkedIn, but I still don’t know when or where I’m supposed to show up next week. I haven’t received clear information about equipment and my questions haven’t really been answered.

They interviewed me for one job, then offered me a different role at a slightly lower hourly rate. The original job description said “remote,” but now I’m being told it is mandatory 40 hours onsite.

I’m trying to figure out whether this is normal for Welocalize or whether these are red flags. Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has worked with them, especially on AI evaluation/data quality projects.
